Abstract        :

Neutron stars (NS) provide us with opportunities to probe the properties of matter at extremely high densities and have proven to be fantastic test bodies for theories involving general relativity. The observational quantities of primary astrophysics interest are the maximum mass and the typical radius of a neutron star. Recently the study of the NS acquired impetus due to the new observation of the pulsar J1614-2230 with mass (1.97±0.04) solar mass. This observation has such a strong impact because it ruled out the presence of exotic matter such as kaon condensates or hyperons in the core of NS. In this presentation, I shall discuss the composition of the matter over a wide range of densities as encountered in the NS. I will start my discussion by introducing the pasta structure which is found below the saturation density and then I will talk about antikaons and hyperons condensation. I would also like to bring you to notice that with only mass measurement we cannot rule out any exotic core of NS.
