Abstract | : |
Recently the CDF-II collaboration has published their latest results on W-boson mass measurement at the Tevatron Collider at Fermilab. The results show a 7-sigma deviation from the Standard Model expectation. In this talk I will discuss the various classes of new physics models which can explain this anomalous W-boson mass measurement. In particular, I will discuss new physics scenarios where: a) Triplet scalars change W-mass at tree level b) Doublet scalars change W-mass at one loop level c) A new U(1) gauge symmetry and the Z' boson changes Z-boson mass at tree level References: 1) The Triplet Dirac Seesaw in the View of the Recent CDF-II W Mass Anomaly ArXiv: 2204.08568 [hep-ph] https://inspirehep.net/literature/2069257 2) W boson mass in Singlet-Triplet Scotogenic dark matter model ArXiv: 2204.09376 [hep-ph] https://inspirehep.net/literature/2069745 3) CDF-II W Boson Mass Anomaly in the Canonical Scotogenic Neutrino-Dark Matter Model ArXiv: 2204.11945 [hep-ph] https://inspirehep.net/literature/2072357 4) W-mass anomaly in Linear Seesaw ArXiv: 2208.04983 [hep-ph] https://inspirehep.net/literature/2134261 5) Gauged B-L models and W-mass anomaly To be submitted soon. |
