An infra-red pathway to new structures of the perturbative S-matrix

In this talk I will discuss recent developments in the study of scattering amplitudes in the soft and collinear kinematics. The soft limit leads to new insights towards understanding symmetries of gluon amplitudes especially in terms of a putative 2D CFT. Moreover, novel relations between amplitudes with gluons and gravitons will be presented from collinear limits using scattering equations.
