High Energy Scattering in Higher Dimensional Field Theories.

I shall provide some motivations for current interests in theories in higher spacetime dimensions. The known rigorous results, derived from general field theories, in case of D=4 will be briefly reviewed. Some results for scattering of massive neutral particles in arbitrary, D>4, dimensional field theories will be presented. The axiomatic formulation of LSZ will be adopted to derive analyticity properties of scattering amplitude and its bevaiour at asymptotic energies.
