Abstract | : |
Heavy ions are being collided at relativistic energies for creation of a state of strongly interacting matter consisting of confined quarks and gluons commonly known as Quark Gluon Plasma. The matter created is to represent either the micro-second old universe or the interior of neutron-star. Recent experiments at RHIC-BNL and LHC-CERN have revealed the existence of a hot and high gluon-density system. Future planned experiment at the Facility for Antiproton and Ion Research (FAIR) is expected to create matters of high net-baryon density. Recent findings and future programme will be discussed. |
