- What is the goal of this conference?
The goal of this conference is to foster regular academic discussions in the broad areas related to gravitation and cosmology in the eastern region of India.
- Why is the conference for just one day?
This is to minimize the organizational issues handled by the host institute. In future, it can be for longer days if the host institute can arrange all the logistics related to the conference.
- Who can host the future conference in this series?
Any institute or university with people working in the area of gravitation and cosmology can host the program.
- Can people submit contributed talks?
Although for this first meeting in this series, we are not accepting contributed talks, in future we will strongly encourage researchers to submit talks. Once a talk is submitted, it will be automatically considered for future meetings.
- Can participants expect travel/accommodation/food support?
The host institute will not usually provide travel support. Accommodation can be arranged exceptionally for people coming from far away places to the host institute. This is again to minimize the logistic related to the conference. It is expected that the food/snacks/tea will be arranged by the host institute.
- Is registration necessary for the conference?
It is mandatory to do the registration to show your willingness in attending the conference. Your participation confirmation will be sent before the conference date. Without the confirmation from the organizers, you can not attend the conference.
